Nomfluence X Mikkeller: Malaysian BBQ Oct 24

That's right! I'm back with another pop-up, this time at Mikkeller Tasting Room on Saturday, October 24 from 1pm until sold out.



I'm a huge fan of Mikkeller and the team! And when they made the call for me to break in their brand new Traeger smoker, I was so damn game. 


I'll be firing up the barbecue on Saturday for some Malaysian food, carving up huge slabs of brisket, chicken thighs and pork belly straight from the smoker.


What's On The Menu


There will be four things on the menu for the day. Food is a la carte and limited portions. Do come early to avoid disappointment.



Smoked Rendang Brisket — Whole slabs of beef marinated in a dry rub of rendang spices, slow-cooked and smoked. Served with soft buns.


Ayam Percik — Chicken thighs marinated overnight in coconut cream, ginger, lemongrass, turmeric and chili then smoked on the grill.


Pork Belly Burnt Ends — Cubes of pork belly smoked and basted in a sweet and savory sauce. Served with soft buns.


Asam Pedas Stew — A tangy tamarind curry stew with octopus, fish and eggplants.


Also, the same day... Taihu Brewing will be doing a tap takeover at Mikkeller with 12 beers on tap! Get some tasty beers to go with your nomnoms.


There will tons of barbecue on Saturday from 1pm. Will be there until all the items are sold out! No reservations necessary, but do come early to avoid disappointment. (Mikkeller is also dog-friendly.)
